Planned exterior renovations to this 1939 building include the removal and replacement of the exterior wythe of brick masonry near the top of the building, new CMU and brick parapets and new pre-finished metal copings. Also, a new EPDM roofing membrane will be installed over the existing roof. As part of the restoration, new steel lintels over window openings will replace lintels which have reached the end of their useful life.
On the interior of the building, scheduled renovations include select drywall replacement, as well as the repair and full refinishing of the wood gym-floor. The floor will be repaired as needed, sanded, striped and sealed.
