The project consisted of the renovation of a portion of an existing 5,500 square feet warehouse building located at 4012 North Rural Street. The majority of the existing structure was converted into an assembly space for use by the Marion County Health Department and HHC employees. A new meeting room to accommodate 100 people was created with new accessible restrooms, storage space, and a kitchenette. The existing exterior finishes of the building were removed and upgraded to create a more modern look. The existing painted white concrete block was covered with a new EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finish System) veneer. A new HVAC system was installed throughout the building and a new roofing membrane system was installed over the building to the to extend the life of the existing roof structure. Minor site improvements were also made around the building.
